Writing Prompt #56
My favorite thing about spring would probably be the blooming of flowers.
Writing Prompt #57
My least favorite thing would probably be all the pollen and such that is in the air during springtime and the fact that my nose seems to turn into a seive. The other thing would be the fact that I will, notoriously, go out in somewhere in the early/mid-afternoon in shortsleeves only to find myself freezing as the sun goes down because I failed to bring a sweater or jacket with.
Writing Prompt #58
One memory that stands out was when I would run around outside, in the rain, in a jumper and t-shirt.
Writing Prompt #59
In a way, yes. We do some spring cleaning,in preparation of passover, to get rid of the leavening in the house.
Writing Prompt #60
Plans? No, not really – Nothing special. Just another normal season of the year.

Probably not. We don’t really get the opportunity to go anywhere or do anything… Certainly not any traveling. It’s all good though – while I’d love to meet some of the amazing people I’ve met via blogging, facebook, twitter, etc traveling (when we do get the chance) takes a lot out of both me and hubby.
We actually took a trip to Texas to visit friends and family for Channukah… Probably last one for awhile.
What I look forward to on a holiday:
What I probably most look forward to is just relaxing. As I mentioned above, we don’t really take any holiday vacations or anything and being a wife and mom there really isn’t any time that I get to take a holiday from that. #always needed – LOL. The good thing is that my business allows me to work when & where I want.
What I Don’t Look Forward To:
I’ll be honest, I don’t look forward to all that is involved in planning a holiday or vacation when it comes to dealing with a wheelchair (hubby’s). It can be quite involved, especially since now he’s in an electric and really needs to have it with him when traveling. Most important is being sure that one hotels say”handicap accessible”it actually is and that he can get into the room and into the bathroom with his wheelchair – Believe me, not alll are as they should be and sometimes “accessible” just means they have a (barely) widened door and grab-bars in the bathroom. And, of course, there’s the loading and unloading of the wheelchair. Plus, being away from home, hubby often requires more assistance to get things done than he otherwise would if we were at home – so yeah, that takes a lot out of me as well.
I haven’t really given my “dream holiday” much though – probalby because it would likely never happen. I think I would just prefer some place nice and quiet where I could just relax and enjoy myself… Probably a nice mountain retreat where I could sit out on a porch or deck close my eyes and enjoy the sounds of nature, or maybe do some writing or a little craft work. Of course there would need to be someone to help hubby out while I was on my “dream vacation”; After all, it wouldn’t really be a vacation for me if I had to spend time helping hubby whenever he needed.
Today’s Daily Prompt by Daily Post is Linger
Tell us about times in which you linger — when you don’t want an event, or a day to end. What is it you love about these times? Why do you wish you could linger forever?
The time I like to linger most, would probably be in the mornings with a cup of coffee… A little “me” time you might say. I might spend time on my Social Media sites (Facebook, Twitter), I might do some writing or some reading, I might even watch a video. Sometimes I just sit and think… Whatever I do it’s “me” time – Quiet Time. A time to wake up and prepare for the day ahead, which is the reason I probably want it to linger – to have more me/quiet time and time to “get myself ready”
Daily Prompt: Twilight Zone
One memory that comes to mind was the time my (at time) boyfriend was spending night at my house (actually it was my dad’s house)… He (my boyfriend) was sleeping in the extra bed in the little nook in upstairs hallway. I was asleep in my own bed. I don’t recall the details of the dream, but I remember it had something to do with me and said boyfriend making out & such and that it was so realistic that I could have sworn it was real… Until I woke up in my own bed and soon realized boyfriend was still asleep in bed he had been sleeping in… I must say the dream was disorienting – not knowing if real or dreaming.
It was brought to my attention that I had some typos in this blogpost – so I have gone in and fixed….
em>To protect innocent, no names will be used….
During one of our break-ups (I don’t believe it was the final one) I was not wanting to accept my (at the time) boyfriend’s desire to end our relationship. Looking back now I can realize how stupid & childish I was being clinging to something that was over (then not so much)… My boyfriend ended up picking me up at setting me, unceremoniously outside his apartment and shutting the door. Keep in mind I did have my own vehicle, so I wasn’t stranded or nothing. I believe we did end up getting back together, but eventually we did break up for good. He went on to marry another (as did I). He still holds a special place in my heart and will always be (to me) an old dear friend.
To be honest, I can’t say that there was a duped or duper in any of this – It just was (or rather wasn’t meant to be).
