Complete this sentence: I’m looking forward to….Don’t really have a whole lot to look forward to, certainly nothing for myself personally … I am looking forward to my son receiving his Life Rank at the next Court of Honor (in the Spring), as well as his next belt advancement. He just tested for his orange belt so it’ll be a little while before his next belt test – not to mention the tests get harder and more is expecte the higher up the ranks you go.
What is your favorite comfort snack food?
There are so many snack foods I like and I’m afraid that narrowing it down to “comfort” snack foods doesn’t help all that much…. Ice cream, pop-corn, chocolate, chips (fritos w/ cream cheese is best but just about any kind will do). I couldn’t even say, for sure, which one would top the list for me – but a good bet would be ice cream.
What was one of your first moneymaking jobs (other than babysitting or newspaper delivery)?
My very first “real” job was with a lady that I actually worked for for several years – well into adulthood, including after the birth of my son… Infact, I worked for her till me and my husband moved from Oregon to Texas in 2007. Outside of a job that involved a family friend, I believe my first real job was either as as a Server at a place called Edgewood Downs or as a Day Care Aide (I’ve forgotten the name of the Day Care that would have been at). Mind you it’s been many years since those “first” jobs.

What one word describes you best?
Couldn’t think of a single word to describe me so I decided to try some online quizzes (for fun):
What is set as the background on your computer?
If you have been to a foreign country name those you have been too?
Does going to Victoria, British Columbia count?

Would you rather take a 2 week vacation with an organized tour or take a cruise of your choice?I think I’d prefer a cruise of my choice.
Did you like swinging as a child? Do you still get excited when you see a swing?
Assuming we’re referring to the swings you see on playgrounds… Yes, I liked swinging as a child. Don’t know how excited I get about it now but does bring back feelings of nostalgia of seeing how high you could go.
What is the most important thing that you ever learned ? (I bet it’s not something you learned in school)
That’s a tricky one. Don’t really know what the most important thing would be… And really, do we ever stop learning?

Before I forget, here’s Cee’s Share Your World questions for this week (with my response in italics):
Where do you eat breakfast?
In my large comfy chair in the living room (which also serves as my office area and relaxing/video watching area).
Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want have a evening with?
I really can’t answer this — There’s way too many people to count…. I wouldn’t even know where to begin.
If you could be a tree or plant, what would you be?
Again with the hard questions…. I like to think of myself as being like a tree, steadfast and true which is fine with me.
What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
Nothing is specifically coming to mind as something that inspired me this past week. I could say that I appreciate all that police, firefighters, military, etc do to keep us safe but that’s really a cop out since I always appreciate what they do and am grateful to them for all they do.
Was school easy or difficult for you? How so?I’d have to say it was more on the difficult side. For the most part I really had to work hard to maintain a C average. Some courses were easier than others…. I believe science (and math to some degree) was easier than classes like history, geography, as well as writing and literature courses. I also waasn’t at all popular and didn’t make friends easily so that aspect of school was also difficult.
List some of your favorite types of animals.
Types – I don’t know. I like cats, dogs, horses.
What is your favorite large city you have been to? What is the one thing you remember most?
Can’t say that I’ve been to too many large cities – Portland, Dallas, Phoenix, Chicago that’s pretty much it. Don’t know that I can say that any one of those is a favorite over another.
