Daily Prompt: Learning Style

Today’s Prompt, from the Daily Post.

What’s your learning style? Do you prefer learning in a group and in an interactive setting? Or one-on-one? Do you retain information best through lectures, or visuals, or simply by reading books?

I do my best when I am allowed to do hands-on learning or at the very least visual.  Because of hearing difficulties in the right ear as well as difficulty some difficulties with Spatial Relations, trying to learn by just Auditory methods doesn’t work very well for me.  Lectures that are primarily “Lecture based” are difficult for me, especially when there are no visual cues used.

I would say I also learn better in a smaller group than I would in larger groups.  I also do best when  I am not placed on a deadline but have time to grasp what I am trying to learn.

Why Jottings & Writings?? Because my (main) blog is a mixture of thoughts/opinions (jottings) and my attempts at (very) short story challenges (writings). Interests? - Pretty much anything to do with Fire/EMS/Police, Writing, and Social Media Firefighters, Police officers, Paramedics, Soldiers.... Those are the True Heroes.
