Not Ready For Reality – Friday Fiction

Gazing out the windows of the 747, Emily found herself wishing she could stay up here forever. But the flight couldn’t last forever. Eventually the plane would have to land and reality met. A reality she didn’t want to deal with – not yet. She didn’t want to face the fact that her father was dying of heart disease. The thought didn’t mesh w/ the stubborn man who had not once tried contacting her and resisted any attempts at contact.
